Verde Canyon Train Ride and Blazin M Ranch

Yippee!  Our RV compressor is fixed!  We are grateful to Galpin RV and Auto Repair in Cottonwood, AZ for their wonderful service to us.  We took the RV to them on Thursday, but because the wrong part was sent from Phoenix, we had to stay one night in a hotel.  They had it ready for us by 3:00 this afternoon.  We now have air conditioning.  I think we are ready to finish this trip.

Yesterday we took a train ride on the Verde Canyon Railroad.  It was very relaxing and a fun trip.  We were served Champagne and hors d'oeurves.  There was an outside viewing car to enjoy the sights or you could choose to remain in the train car.

In the evening we visited the Blazin'M Ranch where we had a fun time before dinner, enjoying the activities and then a wonderful cowboy dinner and entertainment.  What a great day!

Today we visited Sedona and the Chapel of the Holy Cross.  It is a church that is built on the rocks in the Sedona Mountains.  It is amazing and beautiful.

You think you would get used to the beauty in this part of the country.  You know...we've seen all kinds of canyons and mountains and even the Grand Canyon, but then you are gob smacked with another sight in another setting and you are once again wowed!  That's how it was today as we visited Sedona.  It was a lovely day, as you can see by the pictures.  We had lunch outside in a courtyard and ate Cold Stone Creamery ice cream.

Harry caulked our new door latch this evening with "a little help" from the helper.

We've had a great couple of days.  Tomorrow we move on to the K Bar RV Resort in Show Low, AZ.
I'm loving these names.  On the way we will drive through The Painted Desert and The Petrified Forest.  Looking forward to it!

Until next time...May God Bless you and those you love.
