Our compressor is fixed!! Do we need the air conditioning? NO!!!! It's chilly here.
When we left Camp Verde, Arizona we headed to Show Low, Arizona. On the way we drove through The Painted Desert and The Petrified Forest.
At Show Low, Arizona, we stayed at the K-Bar RV Resort. There was nothing special about this resort, except for this:
Yes! Snow!! On October 7th!! When I looked out our window when I got up, I could not believe my eyes. We thought it would stop, but no... it just kept coming down. In order to bring our slides in, Steve had to get the ladder down and broom the snow off the top of the slides. Finally, we were on the road again. Just 500 feet down in elevation and we had only rain.
At Tuscan we stayed at The Lazy Days RV Resort. (Nice place)

We eventually made it to Tombstone, Arizona, the town that refused to die. Steve is a big western fan and has watched many westerns featuring stories of Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday and the Earp brothers so it was a given that he would want to see the show in Tombstone, "The Shoot Out in the OK Corral."
.
And of course, he got his picture taken with the actors. It was fun and very touristy. He also bought a cowboy hat. I wish I had taken a picture of him in the hat. This is not the hat, but funny.

We enjoyed having dinner with Harry and Carol at the Longhorn Restaurant in Tombstone.

From Tombstone we made our way to Hacienda RV Resort in Las Cruces, NM. Because it was my birthday, we had dinner at The Olive Garden. It was a great day.
And that brings this post to where we are today. Today we traveled from Las Cruces, New Mexico to Blaze-in-Saddle RV Resort in Tucumcari, New Mexico. We are on our way home now. These were some of the views on our travels today.
This is where we are staying tonight.
